One of Cuban Smoky's bases has been aged in white oak malt whisky barrels from Islay in Scotland, which gives an added body, power and complexity to the finished rum.
This whisky barrel ageing gives Cuban Smoky its uniquely smoky taste.

Colour : Darkly Vibrant - Deep amber, with the signature Havana Club vibrancy and transparency. Nose: Well balanced and light on the nose, with notes of dried fruit and a delicate smokiness. Palate: Intense smoky flavour with a gentle sweetness and cocoa/ dark choclate flavours, followed by lingering dry spiciness. Finish Balanced and elegant
