Brøndums is a traditional aquavit dating back to 1840, when distiller Anthon Brøndum founded his distillery in Snaregade, Copenhagen. He inherited his passion for distillation from his father, C.A. Brøndum. In 1884, the family distillery joined De Danske Spritfabrikker. After several ownership changes, Brøndums has been owned and produced by Galatea since 2021.
