Nose: Bountiful notes of sweet grape, and rich red wine, are followed by the classic Deanston honeyed characteristics, with complimentary creamy butterscotch and a slight spice. Palate: Rich and bitter dark chocolate opens on the palate, accompanied by hints of syrupy, treacle toffee, a deep and exuberant punch of red wine, and complimented by the sweet, honeyed malt essence. Finish: Rounding off with a sweet tail and a soft, but lingering, spice of full bodied red wine.
