A 1-day ticket is a return ticket valid for a journey there and back on the same day, so you can take the ferry from Rødby to Puttgarden or from Gedser to Rostock, shop at the BorderShop and return home – all in a single day.Perfect for those who want to shop cheaply and fill the car with beer, soft drinks, wine, spirits and sweets at low cross-border prices.

How it works
You can book your one-day ticket online at scandlines.com before departure. The ticket is valid for passenger cars up to 6 metres in length, and you can choose the departure time that suits you best. You pay for the ticket when you book, and when you travel there and back on the same day, you’ll get your deposit back as a voucher that you can use on board, or you can have the money refunded to your debit card.
With the 1-day ticket, you get a simple, affordable trip and can also stock up on shopping at Europe’s largest border shop.
*A 1-day ticket is valid for a return journey on the same day. You pay from DKK 929 and receive a refund of DKK 680 or more on the return journey on the same day at your departure from Rødby. The amount is refunded only to a credit card on board, or you can use the voucher to make a purchase on the same day it is issued. Applies to cars up to 6 m in length. For vehicles over 6 m, please refer to the current price list. The price shown applies to online bookings, including the ETS surcharge.
