Grönstedts was founded by wine merchant Johan Daniel Grönstedt in Stockholm. In 1846, he blended his first cognac under his own name. Production moved several times and in 2008 blending and bottling were moved to France. Since 2021, the brand has been owned by Galatea.

Grönstedts VSOP Monopole has an average age of about eight years. A fantastic all-round cognac with a harmonious character. The nose shows notes of raisins and dried fruit. The taste is medium-bodied with a hint of sweetness and touches of vanilla.
