Grönstedts blev grundlagt af vinhandleren Johan Daniel Grönstedt i Stockholm. I 1846 blandede han sin første cognac under sit eget navn. Produktionen blev flyttet flere gange, og i 2008 blev blandingen og aftapningen flyttet til Frankrig. Siden 2021 har mærket været ejet af Galatea.

Grönstedts VSOP Monopole has an average age of about eight years. A fantastic all-round cognac with a harmonious character. The nose shows notes of raisins and dried fruit. The taste is medium-bodied with a hint of sweetness and touches of vanilla.
