This is an elegant Spätburgunder from St. Remigius. Made from grapes harvest exlusively from the top vineyard Achkarrer Schlossberg in Baden in South Germany. The volcanic soils in Achkarrer Schlossberg adds a special minerality to this wine. Besides minerality this wine delivers strongly on red fruits, silky tannins and a note of forest floor or sous bois as the French call it. Best served chilled and enjoyed with lighter meals.
