Overlooking the sunlit Vallée des Rois, Gratien & Meyer rises majestically above the Loire. Here, tradition and modern techniques come together to craft Saumur’s sparkling wines. All production steps take place on the hillside estate. Since 1864, the house has used the old tuffeau-stone galleries with 20 hectares of vineyards and 5 km of cellars, where Alfred Gratien created his refined wines.

Glänsande, ljusgul färg med rikligt skum och fina, eleganta bubblor. Nosen är intensiv, raffinerad och fruktig och erbjuder delikata aromer. I gommen är det mjukt och upplivas av en krämig mousse, som visar en livlig Chenin-karaktär med citrus och blommiga toner.
