Barros late bottled vintage is a special type of port vine from the Douro Valey in Portugal. It spends four years in oak barrels before being bottled. This method creates a port wine halfway between a tawny and a vintage port, giving it the freshness and dark fruits from a vintage port, whilst the four years in casks makes it smooth and drinkable, without further need for aging.
