Ragnvald arguably the most famous and pioneering of all Vikings to enter uncharted waters, was most at home aboard his longship undertaking his many great expeditions throughout the Middle East and even Asia. Matured in a combination of sherry seasoned oak casks and ex-bourbon casks, this single malt has a rich succulence with flavours of dark chocolate, candied peel and oriental spices as exotic as the destinations that the Viking pioneer reached in his longship.

Appearance: Medium russet, clear and bright. Bouquet: Ripe damsons, oriental spices, candied peel and night scented stock. Palate: W ell-balanced smoke and sweet, grated nutmeg, vanilla pods and high cocoa chocolate. Finish: Complex lingering gingery spiciness and smoke.
